This market is scheduled to close on December 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

This market will resolve to 'Yes' if James Comey is found guilty by verdict or plea of lying to Congress in the federal criminal case prosecuted by the U.S. Department of Justice during the Trump administration, as documented in official court records from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (https://www.vaed.uscourts.gov) or in a public announcement by the U.S. Department of Justice (https://www.justice.gov).

If Comey is acquitted, charges are dismissed with prejudice, or no conviction is entered by 31 December 2026, 23:59 (UTC+00:00), this market will resolve to 'No'.

If the case is transferred, merged, or otherwise adjudicated in a different federal court, the same standard applies based on official court records or DOJ announcements.

If the case is resolved on appeal or by post-trial motion, the final outcome as of the deadline will determine resolution.

If no official court record or DOJ announcement is available by the deadline, the market will resolve to 'No'.
