This market is scheduled to close on December 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC.

This market will resolve to 'Yes' if, on or before 2026-12-31T23:59:59Z, Jair Bolsonaro is convicted, sentenced, fined, placed under house arrest, imprisoned, or subject to other court-ordered criminal penalties by a Brazilian court of competent jurisdiction (including but not limited to the Supreme Federal Court (STF)) for alleged attempts to undermine Brazilian democracy, including accusations of attempted coup, violent abolition of the democratic rule of law, or involvement in an armed criminal organization. Otherwise, 'No'.

If Bolsonaro is acquitted of all such charges, or if all relevant cases are dismissed or dropped without legal consequences by the resolution date, the market will resolve to 'No'.

If Bolsonaro dies, flees Brazil, or is otherwise unable to be tried before the resolution date, the market will resolve according to the most authoritative public reporting available at the deadline.

If credible, authoritative public sources disagree or are unavailable, the market will be resolved at the discretion of Worm's designated resolver, based on the preponderance of evidence from reputable news organizations and official court documents.
